The Fountain (2006) -movie review

 
With a very complicated and confusing but artistic story, 'the fountain' says, "death is not an end but another beginning"."We die to live forever" -'the fountain' says.
    To express sympathy to a person who have lost some very close one, the fountain is a beautiful craft of art. And perhaps it is what the movie was aimed for. And if so, i already said 'the fountain' is the best way to express sympathy.
    Me? I didn't like the movie. Telling great things or expressing beautiful ideas is not a great deal today, we all can do it. Today it is even easier with facebook, anyone can post great thought on wall. But we are talking about a film, a media for mass communication. And if the message is targeted to be conveyed/communicated in huge mass, the way and method of expressing should and must be easily understandable.
    Since 'the fountain' is a movie with a beautiful message it is

a good movie. But 'the very complicated way of story telling' to express and convey the message made me dislike the movie.

    Hence the rate total = 6.5 out of 10
